Atmosphere in the store was very nice. Music and all was very appropriate for a restaurant. My server was very polite and very helpful. My order came out very quickly and was still piping hot by the time I got home, washed my hands and got situated in the seat. The taste was excellent as well. Plenty of tortillas for the order. Portion was enough to last me two days. All at a reasonable price, given all mentioned previously. Definitely worth another visit for me. Definitely worth a first time visit for you.
Love the food here, glad they finally open the new location and don't have to travel so far to get their food, tripa tacos is a must have delicious and their pineapple water so refreshing and good. Employees are nice and friendly always checking on you to make sure u have a drink or incase u need anything else.
This is a wonderful option for authentic Mexican food in the Shively area. The food is always fresh and hot and delicious. We love the sauces, too. The service is outstanding!

Street and family Mexican style food. Reasonably priced and very good! Yes! They carry Coke and other beverages made in Mexico. The Mexican Coke has real sugar. Menus has kid-friendly items. Be sure to tip the servers for their attentive work.
I order from this restaurant about twice a week. I get the brisket birrea tacos with a side of rice. The only thing I would recommend is they give more limes with that order, I even called and got the restaurant on the phone and asked them to make sure and put them in the bag and I also put special instructions on the order twice now and still no extra limes. Today the food was mediocre. The tacos were dry. The rice was extremely dry and the sour cream was watery. The beans were really too runny, but sadly that’s usual. I am honestly not trying to give a bad review about this place because I absolutely love the brisket birrea tacos from this store specifically. I also ordered the Chorizo quesadilla which is phenomenal. It can’t always be perfect, either way, cannot stop ordering from here.
Me and My boyfriend just came here for a little date for dinner. Food was amazing! We've tried a few other Mexican places here in Louisville and honestly so far this place is our favorite! The waitress was so sweet and checked on us multiple times. It was very welcoming in there and just such a nice little restaurant. We will definitely be back!
The best tacos I've ever had. Everything is made fresh in the kitchen and you can taste the quality.
I have eating dinner at this wonderful place a few times when I going for my nightly walk the people who work there are so friendly. I love going there when I feel down because that atmosphere is so pleasant.
